Its glossy and scale-like leaves retain their green coloration throughout winter, brightening up an otherwise dull landscape when other trees and shrubs have dropped their foliage. Even its shaggy bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape with its red coloration. It has a low canopy of around 2 feet from the ground and typically lives around 70 years before its decline. With its hardiness and many uses within the landscape, you cannot go wrong with the addition of a Spring Grove® Western Arborvitae.
